Now a days the people
are expecting the things to be happen at their finger tips. Voice assistants to
the electronic devices are making the work to be complete fast. Siri for iOS,
Cortana for Microsoft are the intelligent voice assistants which are helping
the users to operate their devices.

Google Chrome is one of
the desktop and mobile applications used by most of the people in the world. To
make this use handy, there is third party voice assistant for Google Chrome in
the Chrome Web store. “Anna assistant” is a free extension for Google Chrome,works as a personal assistant we just need to be added to the Google Chrome browser.


Once added to the
Browser, it will ask you to click “Allow” to use the microphone. Then we can
see the following icon on the address bar of Google Chrome.

Once if we click on
that icon, by default it will be in deactivated mode. So just click on the button
it is showing in the picture to activate.

Once it activate we can
give the voice commands to “Anna” by saying the “Hey”. That means all voice
commands should be prefixed with the word “Hey”. For example if you want to
open Facebook, just say “Hey, open Facebook”. 
If you want to know the directions from Delhi to Bangalore, just say “Hey,
How to go from Delhi to Bangalore”. That means every voice command should start
with the word “Hey”, then only the “Anna” can able to recognize the commands.

by the “Anna”:

We can add this extension freely from the Google Chrome
webstore. “Anna Assistant” is developed by an India-based company. So it can able
to recognize the Indian accent easily unlike Siri and Cortana.
